ការជួសជុលព្រះវិហារបុរាណនេះ គឺពិតជាមានសារៈសំខាន់ និងជាតម្រូវការចាំបាច់ ដើម្បីអភិរក្ស និងថែរក្សាសម្បត្តិបេតិកភណ្ឌវប្បធម៌ ស្ថាបត្យកម្មសាសនាបុរាណ និងសិល្បៈដ៏មានតម្លៃឱ្យបានគង់វង្ស ព្រមទាំងដើម្បីលើកកម្ពស់វិស័យព្រះពុទ្ធសាសនា ការពារសុវត្ថិភាពដល់ព្រះសង្ឃ និងពុទ្ធបរិស័ទក្នុងការប្រព្រឹត្តធម៌វិន័យ និងពិធីបុណ្យផ្សេងៗឱ្យកាន់តែមានភាពរលូន និងស្រស់ស្អាតឡើងវិញ។

គួររំលឹកផងដែរថា ព្រះវិហារវត្តសារាវ័នតេជោត្រូវបានកសាងឡើងនៅឆ្នាំ១៩១៧ ហើយធ្លាប់បានជួសជុលជាច្រើនដងរួចមកហើយ។ ក្នុងឆ្នាំ១៩៥២ ធ្លាប់ជួសជុលទ្រង់ទ្រាយធំ តែរក្សារចនាបថដើមទាំងស្រុង។ នៅទសវត្សឆ្នាំ៩០ ជួសជុលលើកទី២ ក្រោយមកនៅឆ្នាំ២០០៦ ជួសជុលទ្រង់ទ្រាយធំម្តងទៀត ដែលឧបត្ថម្ភថវិកាដោយ សម្តេចវិបុលបញ្ញា សុខ អាន និងលោកជំទាវ អាន្នី សុខអាន ព្រមទាំងក្រុមគ្រួសារ ក្រោយមកទៀតនៅឆ្នាំ២០១៣ ជួសជុលលាបថ្នាំពណ៌ផ្នែកខាងក្រៅ។ ព្រះវិហារនេះជាប្រភេទព្រះវិហារជហ្វា ៤ សង់លើខឿនពីរជាន់ មានច្រកទ្វារចេញចូលទាំង៤ទិស ចាំងសាចជុំវិញដោយមានសសរ និងបង្កាន់ដៃកូនក្រឡឹង និងជណ្តើរភ្លោះសម្រាប់ចេញចូល។ នៅផ្នែកខាងក្រៅមានសន្លឹកសីម៉ា ដែលគេដាក់ភ្ជាប់នឹងជញ្ជាំង។ តួព្រះវិហារ និងសសរធ្វើពីឥដ្ឋតាន់បូកកំបោរបាយអ ធ្នឹម និងគ្រឿងបង្គុំដំបូលពីឈើ ប្រក់ក្បឿងស្រកាលេញ និងមានរូបគំនូរតាមជញ្ជាំង សសរ ពិតាន ទ្វារ និងបង្អួច។

SOK Soken, Minister of Inspection, and Lok Chumteav CHAM Krasna attended the traditional ritual offering and Buddhist chanting ceremony for the restoration of the Saravoan Techo Pagoda’s main Buddhist Temple (Preah Vihear). The conservation and restoration of this Preah Vihear was initiated by the Ministry of Inspection, the Ministry of Justice, and the Ministry of Cults and Religions, with implementation led by the Ministry of Culture and Fine Arts. The ceremony was graced by the presence of Samdech Preah Bodhivaṅsa Kittipaṇḍita NOY Chrek, First Deputy Supreme Patriarch, alongside Venerable Samdech and senior Buddhist monks and was also attended by H.E. KOEUT Rith, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Justice; H.E. ANG Vong Vathana, Chairman of the Legislation and Justice Commission of the National Assembly; H.E. CHAY Borin, Minister of Cults and Religions; representatives from the Ministry of Culture and Fine Arts; along with leaders of various ministries and institutions, and numerous Buddhist faithful at the Saravoan Techo Pagoda.

The restoration of this ancient sanctuary is vital and necessary to conserve and preserve valuable cultural heritage, historical religious architecture, and fine arts. It also aims to promote Buddhism and ensure safety for monks and devotees, facilitating smooth and beautiful religious observances and ceremonies.

It is worth noting that the Saravoan Techo Pagoda’s Preah Vihear was originally built in 1917 and has undergone several restorations. A major renovation took place in 1952 while fully preserving its original architectural style. A second restoration occurred in the 1990s, followed by another major renovation in 2006 funded by Samdech Vibol Panha SOK An, Lok Chumteav ANNIE Sok An, and their family. In 2013, exterior repainting work was conducted.

This Preah Vihear features a traditional four-gabled design built on a two-tiered platform with access doors facing all four cardinal directions. It is surrounded by a pillared veranda with balusters and twin entrance staircases. Boundary stones are embedded directly into the exterior walls. The main structure and pillars are built from solid bricks and mortar, while the beams and roof framework are made of timber covered with fish-scale tiles. The interior features traditional mural paintings on the walls, pillars, ceiling, doors, and windows.
